Refund Policy

In short: There's a free plan, so you can try BYP before you pay. New paid subscriptions come with a 14-day refund window. You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of your billing period.

1. Try before you buy

BYP offers a Free plan indefinitely. We encourage you to use it to evaluate whether a paid plan (Premium, Pro, or Elite) is right for you before subscribing.

2. 14-day refund window

If you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial charge. Contact billing@buildyourpocket.com from your account email and include your account details. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe and may take several business days to appear.

3. Cancellations and renewals

You can cancel at any time from within the app or by contacting us. When you cancel:

You keep access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
Your subscription will not renew for the next period.
We do not automatically prorate or refund the unused portion of a period after the 14-day window, except where required by law.

To avoid renewal charges, cancel before your renewal date. Renewal charges outside the 14-day window are generally non-refundable except as stated below or as required by applicable consumer-protection law.

4. Annual plans

Annual plans are billed for ten (10) months up front (two months free). The 14-day refund window also applies to your first annual charge. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable for the remainder of the term except where required by law; you retain access until the term ends.

5. Exceptions and abuse

Refunds may be declined where we detect fraud, abuse, violation of our Terms, or repeated refund requests. Third-party charges (for example, market-data pass-through fees, if any) may be non-refundable.

6. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your country or region (for example, EU/UK statutory withdrawal rights). Where local law grants you stronger rights, those apply.

7. Payment processor

All payments and refunds are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
